Bypassing the set-up wizard on HDS-600RS
In certain circumstances you may need to bypass the set-up wizard in order to obtain software downloads. To do this you must following this procedure:
- Power the box down by turning it off at the power socket.
- Power the box up by turning the power back on at the power socket.
- Wait for the welcome screen to be displayed – “Congratulations on purchasing your new SlingLoaded Freesat+ box”.
- You then need to press the blue, green, yellow, red keys in sequence on your remote control – a blank screen will be displayed. NB. If this does not work then please repeat. After repeating, if it still does not work then you may be running a later version of software, in this case please use the sequence 8462.
- Press Main Menu on the remote control
- Select: Settings > Technical Info > Software Updates > Check for download > via Satellite or via Internet (NB. Satellite download recommended as Internet download will only work if your box is connected to the Internet).
- Once the software update is performed the box will reset itself and you will then be able to go through the set-up wizard and scan for services as normal.
